DigiCam Wishlist
After waiting for, and being disappointed in, the Sigma DP1, the hunt continues. Not sure this will ever happen but I’ll try to keep hope alive. I’m ready to buy the following on a moment’s notice:
- Form factor of a Hexar AF
- Sensor equivalent to a Canon 5D. 12mp is more than enough. Full frame though
- Lens like a Leica M 35/2. Bonus pts for 1.4
- Robust build. Zeiss Ikon ZI quality would be just fine
- Manual control options like the M8
- Spot metering.
- ISO 100-6400
- 3 inch LCD
- High quality optical viewfinder
- Nice but not necessary: anti-shake
Or will settle for a Hasselblad 500CM digi-back, full frame square, under $3K
